Our goal is to teach beginners to dance and
hopefully enjoy it as much as we do! All you need is the desire to try,
enjoy yourself and keep your sense of humour.
We will teach the basic steps in both latin and
standard dances (International Style -based on the current Canadian
Dance Sport Federation syllabus) as well as introduce you to some
social steps that can be used on any dance floor. To have some fun, we
will also introduce you to some basic steps other social dances. |

About Us:
John & Lynda competed in both the
Standard and Latin Ballroom divisions for 16 years before concluding
their career in 2006 at the Championship level. As performers, they
danced in one of Cirque du Soleil's Las Vegas shows for 6 months, have
performed at the Senior's Jubilee at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto for 7
years, and with the Sweet Adelines in 2009 at the Grand Theatre in
Kingston. They often perform at fundraising events in Kingston and
Toronto and last year opened one of the shows on the Tahitian
Princess.
As qualified coaches
with the Canadian Dancesport Federation they now share their love of
dance in their classes both at home and on cruise ships. They enjoy
teaching and believe that people learn best when they are having fun. |
